You ask the question, who are the Millennials? Millennials are “Connection-Rich, Purpose-Filled, and Community-Centered.” The facts on this generation in the United States is that millennials are the largest generation, standing tall at over 80 million, and they makeup over 30 percent of the workplace today. Millennials are quickly becoming the majority. Millennials cannot be ignored neither should they be stereotyped.

To empower yourself for millennials you must be prepared to come to the table with an open mind, and ready to strategies with a game plan to bridge the gap that has taken place in society today. Millennials are technological literate and digital natives; they can build and expand relationships through networking, and social media sites. Therefore, the generation x and boomers can empower themselves by following the millennial lead and connecting.

Millennials are no strangers to diverse and inclusive, and their socially responsible. According to Pew Research Center they’re the most receptive generation to immigrants. Generation X and Boomers can learn from the millennials openness.

To empower yourself for the millennials you must have an understanding of who they are. Millennials are self-empowered, creative, innovative, change shakers who are ready to build in their communities, and Identify mentors, and change policies to create a better community for others. So, we must be willing to look at the world through their lens with open minds and understanding.

To Self-Empower yourself you must be transformed into the highest version of your best self, by being the change you want to see in the world, by tapping into your guidance system, and building up your community. Empowering yourself for millennial.
