One of the many things I do outside of employment is different types of artwork including photography, film, painting, and even sewing a costume. I want a place to showcase my growing art forms and to express some things that can be utilized with marketing initiatives from my employers or clients.
The topics of artwork I enjoy most are strong women, fantasy, large contrasts in color and/or the subject(s).

The purpose of this series was to bring a graphic novel feel to the images that represent powers within during times of depression and challenge. The dark vs light, as it were, is within all of us who are battling for control over the mind and spirit.

When I take a photo I look for a way to have high contrast colors and shadows. I aim to focus on the power of emotion the subject is expressing. Usually, my headshots are not in everyday settings like the office, etc. The environment holds a lot of weight to the energy of the subject so I find heightened energies when in the simple studio or outdoor settings.

Graphically moving photos help tell stories more deeply. Each image is representing a transformational moment in their journey.
